Feline Ear and Liver Care

Liver detox and diarrhea:

I would start him on some milk-thistle and dandelion to detox the liver. A lot of times it comes with the Milk Thistle, like the Thisilyn in which case I would give 1.2 capsules a day. It depends on the brand though, but it is easier if it comes together with the Milk Thistle like that. Better if not in their food so it works just on the liver.

I would also do Slippery Elm 1 teaspoon in 1 cup water and bring to a boil, simmer 3 minutes and then cool and give 1/2 teaspoon twice a day of the mixture, for the diarrhea and to soothe his GI tract too. If you cannot find it in the loose form get the capsules and give twice a day NOT in foods.

For the ears:

Take a solution of 50/50 plain vinegar and water and swab the ears 2-3 times a day. This will take a few months or more to completely get rid of but it will never come back. I know, I had to do this twice in my life with Caesar and Alex. Now they have the cleanest ears you have ever seen.

Wax in ears is a big sign of toxic body trying to eliminate the toxins from the body; toxins have to go someplace to get out when the body cannot hold anymore. This is why I suggest strongly you detox their liver NOW. Toxin over load will seep from the eyes, ears, skin (scratching) and impact their anal glands too. I would have them suppressed at the next vet visit.
