Feline Instincts Raw Diet Saves Another Kitty; Sir Gandalf

On January 27 Desna from Nevada contacted me for help with a stray kitty she rescued. Her story here:

He was dumped in the desert on left to wander for who knows how many days before being spotted by a caring neighbor who posted signs. No one but me called a week later and she handed him over to me hoping I would care for him. He’s between 8 and 10 neutered and if you can believe it, he’s declawed. Why someone dumped a declawed cat in with owls and coyotes is beyond me. He also has a heart murmur but I don’t think that’s a problem for him. His dental health is also pretty compromised.

 Update  2/7

Good Morning,

Rec’d your pkg on Tuesday and by this morning Sir Gandalf’s diarrhea issue has completely resolved. He is beginning to learn to play, runs all over the house, and has gained about 2 pounds in 3 weeks. I’m also getting to sleep through the night now! Whew!! His hind end is getting stronger every day and I think he will be a very happy healthy indoor cat. You have helped me save this cat, give him a much improved quality of life and I wish I could give you a big heartfelt hug.

Your book is wonderful and has reminded me to keep a watchful eye out for ‘bad’ plastics. I’ve always fed about of glass out of instinct I guess. I will be sending it to my daughter and then on to my mother-in-law.

I thank you again from the very bottom of my heart and will be re-ordering soon so I never ever run out.
